Stop users from adjusting screen resolutions under windows 2000

I have a small group of PC's that are windows 2000 pro and have many users that have roaming profiles that access the PC. All users have no rights except domain users (no local admin rights either) I have a problem where certain users are going into screen resolution and changing them and then calling to complain that the machines are messsed up. These certain machines have dual monitors and one change messing the settings for all who use it. ATI card using Hydravision.

Is there a way to disable chaning screen rosolutions or changing monitors within Windows 2000? May GPO or script or by adding a certain group....

Please help!

Yep... a simple group policy will take care of this for you.

You can completely block the users from accessing the display tab of the control panel (or even the entire control panel if you wanted).

The GPO setting is located under:

User config- admin templates- control panel- display

Then set "remove display in control panel".
