Disappearing CDrive Memory!!

How can I find a Trojan/Virus that has used up all the memory on my CDrive?  It wad quarantined and deleted by Norton but had already infected my puter.  I have ran several scans but it is not found; but I know it has to be there since my memory went overnight.  Subject of email was "joke".  Thanks for any ideas/help I can get.

I dont think that there is anyway to identify it from your discription, Norton AV might still have the name in quarentine, but i am not sure.

To get the space back download & install this app http://www.jam-software.com/treesize/index.shtml
then Treesize your C drive to find out where these rouge files are, then delete them.  The program shows you the total size of a folder and all its sub folders, you should be able to quickly work out which folders are bloated and then go in and delete, it is probalby a good idea to ensure that you can see hidden files and folders when doing this  Tools > folder options > View > "Show hidden files and folders"
