Using Cron Job to trigger a script on a different host

I need to trigger an ASP script that is hosted on a different site than the one that I run my CronJobs on. What would be an example of the cgi or php code that I could run with CronJobs that would do this?

Why do you need to use CGI or PHP?

I would set up a cronjob like:

0 0 * * * wget http://www.example.com/page.asp
