I am developing a mobile application in C#. I am relativly new to the mobile application area and i know very little about GPRS.

In my application i have to connect to a remote server from my mobile device via GPRS.
I have 2 questions.

1. I am planning to use a webservice and is it possible to access a webservice via GPRS?

2. I need a C# code example of sending/receiving via GPRS...

This is quite urgent!

Thank you in advance.

    Yes its possible

    2. I need a C# code example of sending/receiving via GPRS

If you dont want to dial the GPRS connection manually then check the following link on how to establish the connection programatically.

As for the programming side of invoking a webservice its pretty much the same, first you add a reference to the webservice using VS 2003 IDE, it will automatically create the proxy class which you can then instantiate and use for invoking the methods in your web service.

    Hi Checoo,

    Thanks for your reply..

I need some example code where i can send a picture from the pocket pc  to a remote server and in that remote server there should be a method which take that picture as a input parameter and which will call some method and finally sends some data (string value ) back to the mobile device.......

could you send me some example code....

i would be a great help.

    thanks in advance,
