Storage and retrieval on USB Falsh Drive

Hi,
Our Master Told Us that We should have a Presentation on a class About Data Storage or Retrieval.
Some Students Selected CD ROM, DVD,Raid,NTFS,FAT32,FAT File system.
But i Selected USB Falsh Drive.
Do you have Information about Storage and retrieval to/from this media?
I cant find any valuable Resources in this issue.
