I'm trying to simulate a T1 connection in my home lab.  I have the following equipment to work with so far:

- one 2501 router. It is connected (via V.35 cable) to an Adtran T100 I bought off of ebay.
-A few spare routers (2501, 2610) to utilize for the other side.

I am trying to find another CSU/DSU so I can do a complete configuration. I've priced out 2600s with built in WIC-1DSU-T1, but they are out of my price range.   I'm assuming I cannot add a WIC-1DSU-T1 to my other 2500 since the 2500s are non-modular?
I can add a module to my 2610 though right? (would the 2610 need a serial interface?)

Can anyone make any recommendations?

This is the setup I'm looking for:

*Router*----V.35---Adtran-----------------------------------------------WIC-1DSU-T1-*Router*

thanks

Absolutely!

>(would the 2610 need a serial interface?)
No. The WIC *is* a serial interface as far as the router is concerned..

Thanks! Are all WIC-1DSU-T1 created equal? Meaning if I found one on ebay it would work?
