Accessing mail file from another database using frameset

Hi.  Have a database that accesses the users mail file using a frameset - pulling through design elements such as the NotesMailOutline etc.  When using the databsae the user clicks on the trash can and finds it empty, when they go into their mailfile and click on the trash can their are documents in the view.

Is there a reason for this??

I'm betting that it's looking at the current database for deleted documents, rather than looking at the user's mail database.  You could test my theory by turning on soft deletions in that database, delete a document, then see if it appears in the view.

I agree that doesn't make a lot of sense, but we're dealing with special Lotus design elements and they're allowed to break the rules to get things to work for mail, and they don't guarantee that they'll work in our own designs.
