File and Directory Access/Modifications Report?

Can anyone recommend a good tool to audit all file access, versions controlling, directory access etc for files within my Windows 2003 Active Directory structure?

    If you're wanting the BEST, check out ECora ( it complies with all major mandated compliance issues... and the reporting functionality is sweet!

    NetIQ's not to bad, but I'm not really fond of their interface:

    Yes I figured out the do-it-yourself option but I could not find a easy way to report off of this and we are now looking to fulfill the compliance issues. So your best suggestion would be the ecora then?
