Need to allow external web page name to resolve internally to a comp with a different domain name

This is a convoluted question and I appoligize ahead of time.

The person who set up our network previous to me ever arriving set it up with the domain name of company-int.com for internal DNS.

Our website is www.company.com. We also have a website that is b2b.company.com.

What we need to have happen is when an user inside our firewall types in b2b.company.com or www.company.com for it to resolve  to the internal server without trying to go outside the firewall to an external DNS server. Because the pervious person mistakenly set up our internal domain name as company-int.com this is not happeneing.

As a band-aid I have set up the host files to point to the correct places and when users log in their log-in scripts make sure they are using the up to date host file, however I would like to solve this problem with DNS.

What will I need to do?

Thank you

You should be able to create a new zone file on your DNS server for company.com and add those two records to it. I'm assuming that the public uses a different DNS server? Perhaps a hosting company?
If you don't have an external DNS server, I would seriously consider checking into dns hosting services, or even your ISP may do it for free..

While I have not been able to make lrmoore's answer work exactly how I would like I do believe it has me on the right track.
