WORD attachments unreadabe

When sending WORD documents as attachments using OUTLOOK several recipients have been unable to open the documents. They have shown up as win.dat files. For other recipients of this same email and attachments there was no problem. Is anyone able to assit.

    Hi collisconsult,

    The problem is that you are sending emails in Rich Text Format. Send in either plain text or HTML. Rich Text Format is only understood properly by Outlook. Even Outlook Express doesn't understand it. For more info, see here:
