Block beep on keydown MFC dialog
I need to get some keyboard events so I am having to use PreTranslateMessage() with WM_KEYDOWN.
Unfortunately I get a beep(sound) when I press any non system key on my keyboard. How can I eliminate the sound so the users will not be so annoyed. I have tried to return FALSE. doesn't seem to do the job. And I don't want to adjust their volume.
Thanks guys
