Delay at clients login.

I'm running 2000 Server and for some reason when the clients try to log in it takes about 2-3 minutes. I'm not using roaming profiles and the workstations are Win XP Pro.

Ideas?
Thanks

from the client, goto a command prompt and type the following..

gpresult

have a look at the results and check what policies are being applied..
You might want to exmaine, and these and check which ones are applied to users and which are applied to computers..
