Virtual Serial Port

I want to create a virtual serial port and need to recieve and send data from it.it must be have all properties of a real serial port.

This can only be done with a WDM driver which can only be implemented with MS VC++.
The Windows 2003 DDK is needed. The CD is available from Microsoft (free except some shipping fee).
The DDK contains a command line compiler so you do not need Visual Studio, but it is easier with it.

The virtual RS232 driver is one of the hardest to write if you want full DOS box compatibility.
