In Photoshop 6.0, Blending Options, the there is a list of textures that can be applied to Bevel & Emboss effect.

How can I add my own textures to the list or how can create PAT file, which is the only format that can be loaded through Load Patterns... option?

P.S. Textures I wish to add are in BMP format.

Greetings dbrckovi,

To create a Pattern what you do is quiet simple:

1. Open the image you want to use as a pattern.
2. Select the area that will be the pattern or Select All (Ctrl-A) if the whole image is to be used.
3. Go to Edit>Define Pattern and give your new pattern a name.

After that the new pattern will show in the list of Preset Patterns.

Also, from the same Patterns box you can click on the flyout menu and select Save Patterns to create a PAT file with the patterns you create.
