Cisco 4000 to HP 2500/4000 configuration issues

I am installing a Catalyst 4000 switch into an environment containing all HP switches (2400,2500,4000 series). I want to set up VLANS. What are the configuration problems I might encounter setting up a VLAN across the Cisco / HP environment. Is it possible and what are the limitations if any? Can it be done?

When using VLAN encapsulation on cisco use dot1q not isl as isl is cisco propriet protocol.

Is there anything else that would be a problem? I know VTP is also proprietary to Cisco. If not I will accept your answer.

Thanks,

No, I don't see any problems there. Even if VTP is cisco proprietary just don't use vtp.

Regards.
