PC to TV

I have a Radeon 9800XT by Hercules and I was wondering what type of connector I would need to connect my card to a TV?. This is so I can watch live Premiership Football via broadband on my TV. Also does anyone know how good the quality of a Live TV stream would be with a 2mb Broadband connection?

Hi gabrielPennyback,

Does the Hercules card have an S-Video connector on it? If so that's your easiest bet.

Read here :

Look for the matching connectors and check ur Video card drivers for a setting saying Output to TV or something related to that and thats it.

the quality will dependent on a few factors

such as load the amount of people watching which imho will be the main problem
but also server speed your 2mb connection wont help in this case as its the server sending data to you that will be slow not yours

Is this from freelivefootball.co.uk

2 mbps is lot of bandwidth for streaming video. Normally ur wud get streaming content around 320 kbps. Sometimes the bottleneck is at the server level rather than ur own speed. find the right server which limits the number of connections to a certain connection to ensure QoS.

6 pin S Video connector is the better way to get gud quality sugnal otherwise connect Yello color AV out connector to ur TV.
