I have a client that creates a hyperlink that works for about two weeks then after that, the link redirects itself back to her local drive. Does anyone know the problem?

When you say Hyperlink, do you mean shourtcut?  You could set the shortcut to be Read Only that way it doesn't change the location it is pointing to.
