Hey guys, my company would like to set up a document scanner and have each scanned document be linked/related to an entry in a database. To do this, I would like to use MS Access VBA.
I was thinking of having a form in the database with a text box and a button. The user would enter the number related to the database entry then click the button. The program would then automatically initialize the scanner, scan in all documents, and then save the documents using a file name based on the number entered by the user.
Can this be done? Don't worry about the text-box and the simple VBA, I'm trying to figure out how to control the Canon DR-3060 using either the TWAIN or the ISIS driver.
