i have been using IMAP, POP3 functions in PHP, MySQL, LINUX OS (like imap_open, imap_list etc)

how to read a new mail (body, attachments) from the INBOX which can allow to read/parse the attachment in the mail to store in the database.

for example ,  john@mail-domain.com from this email , if any new mail arrived, i need to read the mail body, attachments and store it to database........

Hi there, just had a quick look around EE and found this post:


Might be worth you taking a look, basically it uses the IMAP functions to retrieve the body of the message which you should then be able to parse, I've never tried this so I'm unsure as to whether this include attatchments.

Also this post talks about retrieving attatchments from emails using the phpmine class etc, sounds like it most definately is worth a read.
