I was working in Delphi on a pretty extensive windows form.  I saved my project and closed it.  Then when I re-opened it my code page is there will all my procedures, but the form itself is gone or Delphi can't open it..

Can anyone tell me how to get it back or have I lost it for good?

    Accepted Solution

Check in the directory for a file with a name the same as your pas file but with an extension of frm

If its there then the form is still there.

In Delphi press F12 when looking at your code does the form come up?

If it doesn't press F11 to get the object inspector.
If the object inspector comes up select the form in the inpector drop down and check the left setting

Has the form just been moved of of your screen area, i.e. change the value to 0

If none of this works check the directory for a file with same name as pas and extension of ~pas

if you've got backups switched on then this is the backup, change the extension  to pas
