Can some one please tell me how to calculate the checksum for this protocol ??

    well given only a single piece of data this is impossible as it could be doing many things

    example 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 (so you could assume that the algorithm is addition) ... well 1 * 2 * 3 is also 6 so which one is it?!

    I am going to take a wager here and say the checksum is probably the ascii values of the data added up together modulus 256 (just a guess) or added up + modulus 256 then a number conditionally added to prevent using special chars.
