what is a perl bundle?

I have a web site that is to accept user input html.  Therefore there is some programming to do.  But before the programming, comes some research and I am aware that slashdot comments accept the psuedo tag URL and whatever they are doing *might* be what I want to do to deal with the href tag.  So I go to sourceforge and the newest by far download file for slash is a small file called a bundle.  What is a bundle and what do I do with it to get slash source to try to grep and read?

A "bundle" just lists a collection of modules that must be downloaded and installed together to get a certain unit of functionality. I've only seen these in the context of CPAN where the download location is assumed.
