i am doing some research and i was hoping this would be a good starting point.
I would like the ability to send a fax that was generated from some info from my mysql DB. I have a testing server locally with windows 2000 server installed that i run a few websites from, but i do not know what software i need to communicate with my fax/voice modem. i imagined i would be able to send faxes via some SQL statement or something to that nature.

you will not be ablt to send a FAX with SQL, you will be able to query the database for the data but you will need to use a programming language to format the data and then send it as a FAX.

you will probably want to use a 3rd part library to actually send the fax - unless you want to bake your own..
