My old Dos 6.22 setup disk is missing, does anyone know where I can download the setup disks?

Thanks

MS DOS is not free.  You can see if Microsoft will replace the disk.  Or I'd suggest buying a new copy on ebay.

If you're looking for a boot floppy you can try www.bootdisk.com

Efficient way to get backups off site to Azure

This user guide provides instructions on how to deploy and configure both a StoneFly Scale Out NAS Enterprise Cloud Drive virtual machine and Veeam Cloud Connect in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Lets be clear - those are NOT MS DOS.

You can't download the disks from anywhere legitimate.
googling around will find lots of references to the Step Up or Upgrade disks for 6.22, but these need an earlier version installed to run.

Your local techie shop may be able to help you though.

or use a combination of a dos boot disk from bootdisk.com (as mentioned above), and a cd copy of the c:\dos folder from an existing install.  This would let you use the boot disk to fdisk, format and sys a disk, and then copy the dos files back on.

Hi DanCh99,
Thanks for your posting, Not sure if your instructions will meet my needs. so let me add a few more detail.
I have a rather old computer(without CD rom, and any fancy gadgets such as USB) I need the DOS setup disks (any version will do) so I can run the initial setup (I think to partition the HD, etc...)

The dos setup disk that came with computer are missing, hence I can't run the setup.

DanCh99, if your instruction can create setup disks, (which I can then run initial setup on my computer) would you mind email that disk to me? probably in zip form would be great.

I'm quite happy to increase the points by a few hundreds as some form of rewards, ( I  don't exactly follow your instructions on creating setup disks)

thanks.

As leew said, you can download a MS-DOS 6.22 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com. It will enable you to partition your HD, format it, etc...
