oracle odbc & oledb driver problems

i want to make connectivity oracle database with vb 6.

i make a server by using Net8 Configration Assistant

for this purpose i use  following procedure

Cn.Open "DSN=oracle;UID=temp;Password=temp;SERVER=server1;"

the programm running fine but on MSHFlexGrid control giving problem Script out of Range on

 .TextMatrix(0, 1) = "Code"

and ODBC driver does not support the requested properties on

    Rs.Open Sql, Cn, adOpenStatic, adLockReadOnly

When i use following procedure

Cn.Open "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=server1;user id=temp;Password=temp;"

then MSHFlexGrid control problem solved but giving other problem like
- not make recordset properly
- when i insert date like 30-Apr-05 it goes in table like 05-apr-30

etc

please help me with a better procedure

 'if Sql is sql statement
            Rs.Open Sql, Cn, adOpenKeyset, adLockPessimistic, adCmdText
 'if Sql is table name
          '  Rs.Open Sql, Cn, adOpenKeyset, adLockPessimistic, adCmdTable

i have understand correct the problem myself

Actually when i use

Cn.Open "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=server1;user id=temp;Password=temp;"

OraOLEDB use date format like '2005-05-13 12:42:10'

when i change the date format then the problem solved

so please delete this question and refund my points.
