CDONT and JMail!

I wonder why are you comparing the two. In my opinion JMail would be preferable any day of the week unless and untill you are a huge fan of microsoft software. From the top of my mind I can tell you things why I'd choose JMail over CDONT.

(1) Platform independence - JMail will work with any Java compliant sever. For CDONT you need a Window server.
(2) Memory footprint - JMail would be much lighter than CDONT counterpart. This will be a significant factor if you write an application that sends out 20000 mails a day.
(3) Reliability - Reliability of CDONT is questionable. I have seen wierd things happening with mails being sent with CDONT. Things for which I had no explanation such as why a mail being sent it being truncated at random lengths.
