NON-DHCP Server Listed in Authorized DHCP Server List

I had a dhcp server that DHCP service was removed before it was unathorized from Active Directory. It shows up in the authorized servers area of DHCP, can I remove it via ADSIedit?

Even though the server is no longer in the domain is it still on the network?  If so it will show up there.

It is in the domain as a member server and on the network. I can ping it, its just not dhcp, nor does it have the service installed.

You shouldn't have to use ADSIEdit; are you experiencing a problem when trying to remove this device from the Authorized Servers list on another DHCP server?  The DHCP service should not be required; just for fun, I authorized and subsequently removed a Windows XP workstation (not running DHCP obviously) on my test domain.  Good luck!

The fix for this problem is that the only way to remove this is from an XP machine running Windows 2003 tools. The 2000 and 2003 tools installed on the server will not work
