Convert SQL Timestamp from Byte to readable date

Hi All,

I need to know how to convert a SQL Server timestamp from byte format to a readable date value?  I'm trying to pass this value to a label within a datagrid and it is currently returning System.Byte[]. (ASP.NET VB)

Thanks.

Timestamp in SQL Server is not of datetime data type.  If you want a date value returned from SQL Server, you use the DateTime data type, not timestamp.
