I am running MS Office 2000 professional (SP-3) on a Windows XP (home edition) dell machine. Everythign works fine, except when I go to print envelopes in word. Word will print letters just fine, but when I go to print envelopes using word, the printer goes through all the motions and sounds like it is printing, but puts no ink on the envelope. I have also tried printing an envelope but just running a regular 8.5 x 11 piece of paper through and still nothing prints on the paper.
I later noticed that WordPerfect was installed on the machine from the factory. I tried printing envelopes in WP, and got the same results.
I'm at the point where i'm ready to go buy a new printer to see if that is the problem, but since it will print regular letters, just not envelopes (even when letter paper is inserted instead of an envelope) I just want to be more confident that the printer is the problem.
Any ideas? I have tried running the repair on MS Office, but that didn't fix it. I also tried downloading all the latest updates from microsoft office website, but still, no envelopes print.
