NTBackup thru Task Scheduler

I have been running my daily backups for a while now through task. I have often wondered why I must logon to the local machine to get it to run. I do have my user name and password entered in the scheduler "run as" box. Any insight?

    What OS is this on?  Are you a local administrator?

    I am running Server 2003. Yes I am the local administrator. Have tryed recreating the task, no luck. In the log file it says can't find xxxx.bks file not found. I have full access to directory and file.

    Take a look at this KB article.  It sounds like it is your problem.  Remember if you use a text editor to save the bks file as Unicode.;en-us;264604
