Web Interface fails to connect to Analysis Services

I'm trying this on a workstation running XP Pro SP2.  IIS 5.1 is on it and working.  Analysis Services patched to SP3a is on it and working.  I am attempting to create a cube through a web interface.  We use a DSO interface to talk to Analysis Services on the web service.  Whenever I do this I get an error message:

Error creating database 'foo' on server 'DRUBIN01': System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040075): Cannot connect to the Analysis server on computer 'DRUBIN01'. Connection to the server is lost at CubeMgt.SchemaDatabase.checkConnectivity(COMException ce)

This process works fine on another workstation running Windows 2000 SP4 in the office and I've seen it work fine on another XP Sp2 workstation.

Is the Web User used to connect to the olap database in the Olap Administrator Role on the XP Machine?
RaptITAuthor Commented:
The user account was a local administrator.  I reset it to be an olap admin and the problem still occurs.
RaptITAuthor Commented:
thanks for all help, apparently the asp user account needs to be a member of the OLAP admin group and have full control of the Analysis Services folder under program files...

problem solved, and adwiseman's thoughts pointed us in the right direction.
