thanks for all help, apparently the asp user account needs to be a member of the OLAP admin group and have full control of the Analysis Services folder under program files...<br />

I'm trying this on a workstation running XP Pro SP2. &nbsp;IIS 5.1 is on it and working. &nbsp;Analysis Services patched to SP3a is on it and working. &nbsp;I am attempting to create a cube through a web interface. &nbsp;We use a DSO interface to talk to Analysis Services on the web service. &nbsp;Whenever I do this I get an error message:<br />
