partitions on a USB HD

hi,
i have a 2.5inch HD in a usb caddy. They all work fine but...

one of them has two partitions on (2x5gb) i can only see one of the partitions. Any idea how to fdisk a external usb drive?
Im fine with Fdisking normally but this is stumping me.

What OS?  If you are using 9x, then the other partition could be formatted as NTFS.  Or it might be "unpartitioned" space.

its windows xp and ive just discovered diskpart, wow thats the man for the job, works a treat.

If you have WinXP you don't need to use any third party software.

Under control panel=>administrative tools=>computer managmet
you have the "Disk managment" tool and with it you can create and partition your USB disk.

Check it out.

P.S. if you prefer a third party software get the "Partition magic v.8" this software can do miracles.

please take a look also at this link,regarding diskpart,,and especially the section after : "..Luckily, Win XP does have a partitioning program called "Diskpart." :
