c# and javascript

can javascript send a variable value to C#.
the value can not be hardcoded.

    I assume you mean in ... the answer is yes you can set a form variable (i.e. hidden field) then you can read it out of the request.

    also if you need to force /  pass it as a parameter to a postback method
