Font Book Hangs

Today when I launch Font Book, all I get is the rainbow pinwheel.  After 10 mins or so it will finally allow me to force quit, but that's it.  Do I have a bad font somewhere? What's the best way to troubleshoot this?

    Hi Hindsight,
Try following what is on this link. It should help you fix your problem.

Also make sure you run Repair Permissions, and there are quite a few other standard OSX troubleshooting stuff you should try, but see what these two do first.  The first one should fix your problem, the second one you should do anyways, especially if you have not done it in a while.  Once a week is not a bad thing.
