error locating the class file by the jsp.

I have created a java bean and I imported the same in a jsp page. I get an error as servlet error and says that cannot resolve symbol ..the file name.

It cannot locate the class file. I have my class file in the package from which other beans are working properly.
Could someone please tell me what should I do. I also wanted to know when is the beans default constructor called. Is it when we import the class file or when we create an id for the bean or when some method is called...?

Make sure the class has been compiled in the correct package with the right declaration. Make sure you have no case errors in your jsp.

When you do <jsp:usebean ... the class instance will be looked for and if not found one is created
