We are thinking about developing a Customer Relationship Management/ Sales Order Entry application. I'm trying to gather information on the difference, disadvantages, and advantages of developing in either visual foxpro or c#.net, thanks!

Thats some intersting stuff, we have been using foxpro for a long time, but I've been trying to enlighten folks here on some of the advantages of other languages including .NET, I think we are either going to go one way or the other with this one. Good site though.

I would personally head to .net if for no other reason than the fact that I dont see fox pro being around in the distant future ...

with yukon and longhorn more and more is being pushed to .net

I gave that link because it can offer a nice middle ground and possibly an easy transition, port pieces to .net as opposed to the whole app at once.
