using phpmyadmin functions

I am writing some queries where my client can see the stats for the day , week, month, and year.
Is there a way were i can query my phpmyadmin program and have it display the results on my site.. ?

I have a hosting compnay where the files i located...

How do i send my queries to phpmyadmin and have it display the results on my site

www.site.com/stats.php ?

Also, how do i modify this query -->

$banner_check_query = tep_db_query("select count(*) as count from " . TABLE_BANNERS_HISTORY . " where banners_id = '" . (int)$banner_id . "' and date_format(banners_history_date, '%Y%m%d') = date_format(now(), '%Y%m%d')");

I just want to write a query where if today is wednesday, it shows you results from SUNDAY TO Wednesday.

if today is friday it shows you results from sunday to friday.....Thanks.

while you can see all of this in PHPmyAdmin...
it seems like it would be wiser just to write a page that does this for them.
since you would have to pretty much spend more time destroying phpMyAdmin's functionality than it would take to write what you describe.
