I have Windows 2003 servers with ADS (3 servers), I have set the domain security/account policies, as user cannot change passwords & passowrd doesnot expire.

Only few users are getting the message intermittently when they login to domain that for e.g; "14 days remaining for change of password. do u want to change now", this message appaers even if the user is part of administratiors group.

Please advise on this.

Best Regards

You should change these settings also in defualt group policy.

goto Users ---ad  right click porperties and group policy and edit default group policy users password policy.

    Assisted Solution

You can get GPMC (Group Policy Management Console) here if you don't already have it :
This is a more user friendly version than the group policy editor you get with windows.

What you need to check is that Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Account Policies\Password Policy "Maximum Password Age" is set to 0.

    hope this helps,
