Hi, im trying to access my emails using outlook 2003 and am getting the error "0x8004011D - The server is not available" .  We are using Exhange 2003.   My email was working this morning but my machine froze and had to restart it.  After the restart is when i started having problems.  Ive installed the latest service pack 1 and am still having no luck.  Is there anything else I can try?

Did the server freeze up or the client.
The error sound like that the Mailbox store, public folder store or both are dismounted.
If the server forze up and you rebooted you databases might be inconsistent.
If transactions in memory were lost, and the stores dont mount when you try to mount them, then you might want to restore from the lask good backup.
If no backups are available then you will have to repair your databases.

To repair your database run the following commands (The order is important)

1. Eseutil /p "C:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb"
2. Eseutil /d "C:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb"
3. Isinteg -s SERVERNAME -fix -test alltests

Mount the stores again.
Outlook should work.
