Hey I am using classic ASP application. It was working perfectly fine till today. But today when I go to some of my pages where i use a recordset its giving me this error

Provider error '80040154'
Class no registered
/affiliateadministration/affiliates/mypage.asp, line 151

its giving the same errors for different pages and at different lines. I noticed in all these pages the error is getting where I am trying to open a record set like this
rsAffiliate.Open AffiliatesQuery,sDSN
Its the same on all the error pages. But the strange thing is everything is working suddenly now. Can someone help me out here so that this won't happen again. I am not sure but is it some kind of memory leak or something? Thank You

This is an issue I've seen many times with asp, IIS and access. If you can, try to avoid using a dsn, and use a static file link to the database. That'll fix everything, and it's more efficient. I think the problem occurs due to memory leaks or something - that's why it's irregular. You'll find it will work just after a iis reset, and then die again a little later, then come back, for no apparent reason!

If you're building a critical web application, you're much better off using SQL Server.
