I'm unaware of any capability in the 802.11 wireless networking scheme or in the Windows implementation of this that would allow even a rough distance measurement to an antenna.

    Thank you for your comment.

Is there an API for the connection?
How can I astablish a WiFi connection?

    Thanks again...

    Accepted Solution

Yes, there is an API for managing 802.11 connections under Windows.  There are several sources of information but a good starting point is the Microsoft document:

Another useful thing to look at is the NDISPROT sample from the Windows Server 2003 DDK.  (There is also the NDISUIO sample in the XP DDK but the NDISPROT sample is more up-to-date.)
