Outlook 2002 client accessing Sendmail

We are using Sendmail 8.12.8 as our mail server.  I have just upgraded my email client from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2002.  Outlook 2002 can not get the messages via POP3.  I went back to Outlook express which was still on the same pc and this works fine.  I get an "Unknown Error 0x80004002" when trying to get messages.

All options appear to be correct and using the test settings option in Outlook passes.

Hmm Outlook could be corrupt?

Open up Outlook 2002 and go to Help -> Detect and Repair.

Then follow the process.

If this doesnt work, try going to http://office.microsoft.com and try doing an Office update. There might be a few office service packs that you have missed.

Good Luck.

Worked like a champ.  After the repair, I ended up with 10 email accounts, 9 of which were old from old ISP's etc from Outlook and Express.  Removed them and all is sailing.
