Autotext filename and path not working

Help!  I've been using filename and path in MSWord 2002 by going to View-Header Footer, then Insert Autotext and selecting Filename and Path. Now for some reason, this option doesn't show up anymore.  If I go to Insert-autotext--then go to the autotext menu, the Filename and Path option is there, but it doesn't do anything when I click it--what's up with that?

Try searching for all instances of normal.dot on your hard drive and either rename them or delete them.  Then try it.

Yes, I copied the normal.dot from another profile into mine, and it fixed it.
