OMA 401 - unauthorized error

Hello, I have setup server 2003 SBS, I am trying to get OMA up and running.  If go to http://server/oma from a normal web browser I get a basic auth screen.  I can login there and then i can use the OMA app.

However when i use my cell phone emulator "WinWap" I get a HTTP 401 - Unauthorized

any ideas.

Enabling "unsupported devices" should do the trick for you.  The setting is found under Global Settings > Mobile Services Properties in the Exchange Manager.

Here are a few reference pages:  http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/OMA_Exchange_Server_2003.html

Thanks i got it.  I had that checked,  When i tested with a phone it worked ok.  Thanks for your help. Dave

The problem may have been due to the fact that the emulator doesn't use html, but rather WAP, and OMA is just simple html.
