Attach child window to parent?

Is there a way to spawn a child window and control it's movement? I want to pop a child window and have it attached to the bottom of the parent so if the parent is moved the child moves with it?? IS it possible???

try this:
================================

<script>
var childWin;

function runit()
{
      self.moveTo(0,0);
      self.resizeTo(400,200);
      childWin=window.open("about:blank","","width=300,height=200");
      childWin.moveTo(0,200);
      setInterval("dockit()",100);
}
function dockit()
{
      try
      {
            var x=self.screenLeft-4;
            var y=self.screenTop+document.body.offsetHeight+23;
            childWin.moveTo(x,y);
      }
      catch(e){}
}
</script>
<button onclick=runit()>runit</button>
