SPYWARE HELP PLEASE!!!

my windows is xp. i got spyware problem last week. Therefore, I restart computer into safemode, i run Microsoft Antispyware, Adaware se, Spybot Search and Destroy. I also run BHO Demon, Hijackthis. And also delete files in Temp folder for every single account, also Empty Recycle Bin. But the funny thing is, computer back to normal mode, when i open windows explorer, "Spyware Guard" program keeps asking me about the page has been change, and ask me if i want to restore or keep new value. My question is: it's not asking when i open internet explorer, but it does ask when i open windows explorer. It becomes really irritating. I am about to reinstall windows. But i want to ask the experts before i do that. So, can anyone tell me that i'm missing something? Please help.

The problem is that some piece of malware is still in your system and is trying to change (hijack) your home page.

You either let it hijack and try to cure it afterwards, or do a clean reinstall of Windows.

Good luck,

I would leave reinstalling windows as my last option. I just want to solve this problem, so if others get same thing in future we can help them with.
Here are what i tried:
   - i remove whatever dll that Spyware Guard notice me. They are either in Windows or System32 folder. Those are meaningless dlls. But the problem is eventhough i remove it, if i open iternet explorer again, it shows me another dll. I try to remove 10 times, but still.
do you have any idea, spyware experts?

You will.

But you can try HijackThis before that:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html

Download and install it in a new folder, not a temp not on desktop. This is important so that the backups are safely saved.

After that scan your system and save the log.

Copy and paste that log to this auto-analysis site:

http://www.hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english

Click the "Analyze" button. You will see the analysis of your log, scroll down and click "Save analysys". This will open a new website page with your saved analysis.

You will see the entries labelled. Follow the suggestions.

If you need help with your log copy the LINK to that page and post it here.

Experts will visit that website page and help you.

Do not post the log please, they are not welcome at EE.

Good luck,

Zee

i did try Hijackthis. Thanks to that, i removed 3 Nasty spyware. But like you said, I think there is still some spyware in my computer. I run Microsoft Antispyware, Adaware, Spybot Search & Destroy in safemode, but they couldn't find it.
