Beginner's question:

I have form1.cs as my main program with an About... menu item in its window.

Next step for me is to create an About dialog box and display it when the About... menu item is clicked.

Do I create a new form for About? And how do I bring it up?

    Accepted Solution

    Add new About form to the project and place on it any information you need using Form Designer.
    To show it from About menu item add handler to menu item (double-click it) and fill it by the following way:

            private void menuHelpAbout_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
                FormAbout frm = new FormAbout();    // set here your About form name
