sfc /scannow wants SP4 CD & does not accept CD with downloaded SP4 on it.

I have a Win2k SP4 server and when I run sfc /scannow it asks me to insert SP4 CD.  SP4 was installed from a CD containing a single (~130MB) file, W2KSP4_EN.EXE (downloaded from microsoft.com).  I have inserted this CD, but sfc keeps asking for the CD.  Is there a way to satisfy sfc without obtaining an "official" SP4 CD?

Issue the following commands:  -

SFC /cancel

then reboot your computer to take changes effect. If the problem is not resolved and it asks again for cd then repply the service pack either from EXE file or from the following location : - \WINNT\ServicePackFiles\i386. There is no way to change the location of SFC source. SFC will ask you to insert the CD only. You can also do a wondefull thing that is splipstream your Service Pack 4 with Windows 2000 CD. So if next time sfc runs it will ask you to insert the original windows 2000 cd but not Service Pack 4 cd.

How can I slipstream service packs into the Windows 2000 or the Windows XP media?
