    Close outlook
    Go to START->RUN >type outlook.exe /CleanReminders
    This would clean and regenrate ur reminder

    if that doesnt work it might be a corrup pst file ( or r using exchange ?)

    I have tried the above to clean out the reminders which I am afraid did not do the trick, using exchange 2000.

    Check if this helps
    There is one similar problem at
    where the solution was to manually delete the reminders using the Mdbvu32.exe utility .
    But that link has been removed by microsoft.
    You could use the steps outlined here to solve it

    Do you have an exchange administrator?  If so easiest fix is just export the mailbox to a PST file, have the admin rebuild you a mailbox, then log into the new mailbox and import the data from the PST.
