Check http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q276248/
Also
Close outlook
Go to START->RUN >type outlook.exe /CleanReminders
This would clean and regenrate ur reminder
http://support.zianet.com/support/documents/troubleshootoutlook2000/commandline.htm

if that doesnt work it might be a corrup pst file ( or r using exchange ?)

I have tried the above to clean out the reminders which I am afraid did not do the trick, using exchange 2000.

Check if this helps
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=292183
or
There is one similar problem at http://www.experts-exchange.com/Applications/MS_Office/Outlook/Q_21226480.html
where the solution was to manually delete the reminders using the Mdbvu32.exe utility .
But that link has been removed by microsoft.
You could use the steps outlined here to solve it http://www.webservertalk.com/archive128-2004-11-540785.html

or

Do you have an exchange administrator?  If so easiest fix is just export the mailbox to a PST file, have the admin rebuild you a mailbox, then log into the new mailbox and import the data from the PST.
