opening .tif attachments in Acrobat

Hi -- when I receive .tif files as attachments I'd like them to open them in Adobe-- how can I do that?  Thank you.

    Adobe Photoshop can open these graphic files, not Acrobat Reader.

    Thanks -- I rec'd the answer I was looking for from a buddy last night

    Go to Explorer...Tools...Folder Options...File Types...scroll down to .tif and associate Adobe Acrobat my inbound .tif files are automatically opened for viewing in Acrobat.
